Learning Happens @ Your Library

Learning Happens @ your library is the Bridgewater Library’s weekly series of continuing education and enrichment lectures for adults who want learning to remain a continuing experience throughout their lives. The series is offered each spring and fall; participants attend two programs every Thursday morning for a 6-week “semester."

Guest speakers from all segments of society - academia, business, government - talk about their areas of expertise. Participants enjoy the opportunity to meet others, challenge themselves mentally, and be inspired by some of our community’s most outstanding teachers and leaders. Their presentations are intellectually stimulating and culturally enriching; the social tone is informal and friendly. Learning Happens is made possible in part through the Bridgewater Library’s partnership with Raritan Valley Community College.

Participation is FREE and all adults in Somerset County are invited to attend. Registration is required. Sign up in person, by phone or online. The Bridgewater Library is located at 1 Vogt Drive in Bridgewater. For more information call the Bridgewater Library at (908) 526-4016, ext 105; or go to the “Programs” link at our www.somerset.lib.nj.us website.
