The Friends of the Bridgewater Library organize three used book sales each year. Residents may donate books for these sales during specified donation periods held approximately 5 - 6 weeks before each sale. The dates for these collections are announced through press releases.
PLEASE NOTE: While the Friends appreciate donations, they do not have adequate space or volunteers to receive donations year-round!
Opening and closing times for each day of a book sale are listed on the library's online calendar.
Upcoming Book Sales:
September 29 - October 3, 2010
February 9 - 13, 2011 (Donations accepted January 6 - 8, 2011)
June 8 - 12, 2011 (Donations accepted May 12 - 14, 2011)
September 28 - October 2, 2011 (Donations accepted August 25 - 27, 2011)
The Friends of the Library accept only cash for purchases and payment of entry fees.
Book sales are held at the Bridgewater Library, 1 Vogt Drive, Bridgewater, NJ.
Book sale prices are as follows:
Adult hardcover books $ 2.00/ea. Children’s hardcover books $ 0.50/ea. All other softcovers $ 0.50/ea. Pocket Size softcovers $ 0.25/ea. CD audio books, music CDs and DVDs $ 1.00/ea. Videos and Cassettes $ 0.25/ea. LPs $ 0.10/ea. Post booksale bid information.
