Click here to find encyclopedias, magazine and newspaper articles, and electronic reference books.

The Internet has so much information to offer, but not all of it is appropriate for kids. Some sites, called search engines, help you find the information you are looking for. An example of a search engine is Google. Below are some search engines and guides to the Internet that will help you find information that is appropriate for kids.

Ask Kids

This is a search engine designed exclusively for young people ages 6 to 12. Each web site in the Ask Kids core search index was selected by the Ask.com editorial team as child-appropriate or as a relevant and practical site for reference and learning.

GoGooligans

A search engine for kids with a safe-search filtering system. Voted one of the best websites for kids by the American Library Association.

Kids Click

This is an excellent "Web guide and search tool for kids by librarians".

Quintura Search Cloud
